As a Town Councillor, I think of how different levels of Government work together.

Combining Dwyfor Merionnydd with Montgomeryshire and Glyndŵr would give potential MSs too many County Councils to deal with at once.

Combining Montgomeryshire and Glyndŵr with Wrexham would make much more sense, as Glyndŵr is already part of Wrexham County Borough. This would create the much simpler Senedd Constituency “Montgomeryshire and Wrexham”.

There is also improvement here on the size of the Constituency and the mix of urban and rural constituents.
