Comment DBCC-5015

Joining Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire to create one constituency will create a huge unwieldy and impractical entity. Historically this has been done before by welding Pembrokeshire, Cardiganshire and Carmarthenshire into the county of Dyfed from 1974 to 1996 which didn’t survive as it wasn’t workable! I have been a resident before and through all all of those developments and here we go again proposing to create yet another such monster. The identity and characteristics of Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion are quite diverse and need to remain separate and unique and not just bundled up because they sit next to each other.
On another point the new name if this happens should surely be Cardiganshire and Pembrokeshire in English and Ceredigion and Sir Benfro in Welsh?
In a time of financial difficulty I see this reshuffling as an unnecessary expenditure and do not agree with it being instigated.
Please note on using auto fill for my address below it put in the county of Dyfed! so I feel this supports my argument against any more changes to constituency boundaries when a previous defunct one is still cropping up!
