Monmouthshire is mainly rural, and the requirements and needs of the constituency will be very different to the needs of torfaen, which is a much more urban area. If you put these two areas together, budgets for the different needs of the areas will be further diluted. I’m sure this issue is replicated across other areas in Wales that you are trying to amalgamate.
