As a local resident for over 60 years I feel the vale of Glamorgan Constituency should include Penarth and Dinas Powis rather than Bridgend. Bridgend is more associated with the Garw valley and Port Talbot rather than the Vale of Glamorgan.

I also feel that the south Wales valleys constituency pairings to run north-south up and down the valleys, so pairing Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare with Pontypridd reflects local ties in valley communities. Similarly to Bridgend and the Garw Valley.
