Comment DBCC-7722

The proposal to include the area of Coedffranc Town Council with that of areas such as Brecon has no reasonable or practicable logic. This is due to:
- the geographical size and landscape of the new proposed seat, all of which are separated by swathes of topographical environments;
- the diverse nature of the two seats, one largely agricultural and one industrial;
- the new seat covering a variety of Local Authorities, Health Boards and other public service bodies that do not have anything in common nor share public resources;

As an alternative, the constituency of Neath and Swansea East has more in common with Aberavon and Maesteg. Coedffranc was previously in the Aberavon constituency and already has a cultural and historic connection there, aside from the established economic, employment and commercial interests.
