Montgomeryshire and Glyndwr should not be paired with Dwyfor Meirionnydd.
I live in Ponciau LL14 [REDACTED] , a couple of miles outside Wrexham and consider myself to be part of the Wrexham community.
When I voted in the recent general election I did not feel happy to be voting for an MP who would represent such a massive and geographically incoherent constituency, the majority of it very different in character and interests from my own area. I shall be even more unhappy having to do so in Senedd elections.
Pairing with Wrexham would form a more coherent constituency with shared concerns re transport, healthcare, industrial/commercial/economic/cultural issues. It would also create a more geographically cohesive constituency - Wales, especially the North does not lend itself to simple 2 dimensional partition on a map, it is essential to create entities which are cohesive in 3 dimensional reality.
Proximity to the border with England is another distinction that should be recognised - our communities, whilst many are very distinctly Welsh, are affected by this in many ways, including access to services and work opportunities etc along with transport infrastructure totally different to that in the West.
I do not feel that any representation can be truly effective in attempting to serve the interests of such a distributed and disparate set of communities and I hope you will reconsider.
