1. Newport Islwyn brings all of Newport city together. It is named after the two
areas forming it.
2. Blaenau Gwent and Torfaen is named after the two valley boroughs which
form this one. They include two of the eastern valley communities and so
form a good and united constituency.
N.B. Torfaen and Monmouthshire are very diffent. Torfaen is a valley
community and urban. Monmouthshire is farming and rural. They do not go
together very well at all- forming an ill gotten "marriage". A marriage of
convenience. End up in divorce!
3. Merthyr and Rhymney Valley(s) named after the two forming it. Rhymney
Valley includes Caerphilly - name for all. Two valley towns together with good
links. Including the the A472. Treharris and Nelson are very much linked and
together, each being in the other constituency.
4. Cardiff Bayland and Penarth ,this covers all southern Cardiff. This area is very
close together. Many people living here do not venture north-very often or
not at all. Forms a unified community.
5. Cardiff Heath The northern part of cardiff have similar livestyles and a similar
area.
6. Has two options: left one bring the Valleys communities together.
right one bring the Ely part of Pontpridd and Vale together.
7. Has two options: left the coast together.
