Dear Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my support for the Initial Proposals for the 2026 Review of Senedd constituencies.

I believe that the proposed constituency pairings, particularly in the south Wales valleys, respect local ties and communities. For instance, pairing Merthyr Tydfil and Aberdare with Pontypridd acknowledges the shared interests and connections within the valley communities.

Additionally, the pairing of Cardiff West with Cardiff South and Penarth makes sense due to their geographical links via the A4232, while maintaining clear boundaries with the rest of Cardiff.

I encourage the Commission to uphold these proposals, as they enhance effective representation and reflect the unique characteristics of our communities.
