Hi,
We would like to object to the proposal to combine the constituencies of Bridgend and the Vale of Glamorgan.We feel that the proposed six Senedd representatives who will be representing the aforementioned constituencies may all end up residing in one of the constituencies,and may not adequately represent their voters.The list system will remove the link between the successful candidate and the electorate,as the parties will be choosing the candidate.We feel the present system is more desirable,and the proposed system will be a step backwards.
The changes will not bring decision making closer to the public.We implore the Senedd to reconsider the proposals to bring forward a fairer system for the electorate
