By the way, I noticed in your e-mail below that you invited us specifically to look at the Welsh names of the constituencies. Although our Panel’s main expertise is undoubtedly the orthography of the Welsh language, we are not restricted to advising only on the Welsh forms of the names, of course. You will see that we have made suggestions and recommendations on the names to be used in both languages – and indeed have suggested how you might achieve a single Welsh name for use in both languages.

All the best with the next stage – we look forward to receiving the next request from you. Can you give us an idea of when you will require our input next I wonder?
