To whom it may concern,

I write regarding the ongoing consultation about the Democracy and Boundary Commission Cymru’s 2026 Review of Senedd constituency boundaries.

I am broadly supportive of the proposed Blaenau Gwent, Rhymney and Caerphilly constituency included in the initial proposals.

However, one area of concern is this proposal as it currently stands preserves the split in the Cefn Fforest and Pengam local government ward. In any revised proposals, it may be preferable to address this to ensure that the ward is fully contained in one constituency.
