Thank you for inviting my views in this consultation.
Broadly speaking, I approve the initial proposed changes. Having worked all over Wales for more than 40 years I can see the logic behind the 'merging' of adjacent constituencies in the context of the 'contiguous boundary' requirement.
The proposals have led to large constituencies in rural mid and west Wales but having worked extensively in those areas I can appreciate that their low populations have led to the boundaries proposed.

As a resident of Ceredigion I can appreciate its affinity with, and ready access to, Pembrokeshire making the pairing of these areas a logical choice as a single constituency.
