Comment DBCC-8108

Constituency names should be in the predominant language used in an area, if the area is predominantly Welsh speaking then use the Welsh name e.g. in North West Wales but in South East Wales where English is spoken almost exclusively then use English names.

Boundaries should be based on neighbouring local authorities and Health Boards and not divid local authorities e.g. splitting up Caerphilly CBC into two proposed constituencies this way constituents will know who they’re AMs will be and not be confused by boundaries e.g Blackwood and Pontllanfraith are so closely linked they share schools and GP surgeries. These constituencies can then become the basis for any changes to Westminster boundary changes and in future possible local authority mergers.
