I live in alyn and Deeside. We have awful public transport links within our own area, never mind neighbours. I assume none of the people on the panel have ever tried using the Wrexham - Bidston line reliably? Trains are cancelled before your eyes while you wait at stations, replacement services don’t turn up. There’s no bus service either to anywhere in my village, you don’t even offer school children school transport anymore as it’s 0.001 mile closer to another school no one attends from our villages. I say villages, that’s because the 3 that make up our community council boundary, because of speculative housing applications that no one wanted apart WAG appeal boards were now a small town with no infrastructure to support the growth.

Put us with the old Delyn, where most of our doctors surgeries and community hospitals are, where we can actually manage to get to, we don’t fall under Deeside here, so you need to look closer. How your changes will impact actual communities.

Put Wrexham which is a different county all together and do things differently with other parts of Wrexham. Or you’ll have 2 councils doing different things for people in the same Senedd constituency, but they’ll be no consistency!!

If this farce has to carry on, at least give it a dignified name…the river alyn runs through Wrexham and is part of the the Alyn & Deeside name…call it Alyn.
