DE POWYS TAWE NEDD

The new name sounds like the name of a Norman Lord and will have no meaning to the majority of the people in the constituency. Hardly anyone in the area will have any idea what the name of the constituency means or the area it represents. By naming the constituency in Welsh in a majority English speaking area this suggests a deliberate leaning towards encouraging votes for the Welsh Nationalist party Plaid Cymru and an attempt at creating a biased vote to support the language objectives of minority factions.

I propose the name of the constituency to be:

Brecon, Radnor, Neath and Swansea east

So that the majority of people will understand the areas in which they are voting because most of the relevant county names have major towns linked to them. There should be relevance to the majority of the population in the naming of the constituency for which English is the first language to encourage voters to participate in the election.
