While creating a constituency using the using the Llanelli and Carmarthen parliamentary constituencies is logical, if the purpose is to also increase voter participation then naming the constituency "Sir Gar" will have the opposite effect.

Voters in Llanelli have little trust in Carmarthenshire County Council, and don't seem themselves represented. Removing "Llanelli" from the constituency name will further alienate disinterested voters and see a further decrease in participation.

The name "Llanelli" needs to feature in the new Senedd constituency name, preferably first as it contains the bulk of the population.
