Comment DBCC-8421

Dear Sir/Madam

I wish to reiterate my previous comments regarding the new proposals and believe that Pontypridd would be better served being joined with Cardiff West - for the reasons outlined previously.

My previous comments regarding the rest of the constituencies I mentioned remain the same.

In terms of my new observations, I would only add that, historically, turnout has always been lower at a Welsh Government election when compared to a UK General Election (even with the added franchise of 16 and 17 year old voters), and I worry that having Welsh only constituency names would add to this - continuing the disconnect that people feel towards the Welsh Parliament.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter and I look forward to your response as soon as possible.

Yours

Joel
