Dear Sirs

With regard to the current Consultation, I would advise that Pendoylan Community Council is concerned regarding the proposed pairing of the Vale of Glamorgan with Bridgend UK Parliamentary constituencies and would oppose this on the following grounds:

(a) The Vale of Glamorgan would lose its very distinctive & enviable identity
(b) The Vale of Glamorgan is geographically very different to the Bridgend constituency and there is no way the proposed pairing will create a cohesive constituency
(c) In particular there are concerns that the rural areas of the Vale of Glamorgan will be ignored/overlooked in favour of the inevitable increase in urban areas
