Comment DBCC-8435

Dear Sirs,

Ruthin Town Council have met to discuss the proposals.

Councillors felt that in the current economic climate the proposal was unjustifiable given the pressure on services such as Health and social care and Education and urge Welsh Government to reconsider the proposal.
Given this they felt that if Welsh Government pressed ahead with proposals they had no objection to the naming of the proposed constituency.

Councillors felt that the holding of such an important consultation offered limited scope to digest and respond to the proposals over the Christmas period.

Kind regards
